NotOnlyWhite is a Dutch design brand founded in 2010. We aim to provide distinctive and flexible product solutions for both the residential and the project markets. The collections are designed by Dutch designer Marike Andeweg (1978).

NotOnlyWhite strives to be a transparent organization. This will be reflected in the way we communicate, whether through our website or whilst personally advising our clients on their projects.

MARIKE ANDEWEG

'Be a part of the experience' – that is what Marike wants to achieve with her new label NotOnlyWhite.

Her vision on design roots in purity and practicality. What inspires her most is the challenge to create a pure and effortless product. 'I'm searching for the boundaries between aesthetics, functionality and material.'

The resulting collections for NotOnlyWhite are a reflection of her experience and personal creative development. Whilst the products are eye-catching aesthetically, they always manage to integrate into their settings fluidly and are intelligent but easy to use.

Marike began her career as a product developer at the Dutch furniture manufacturer Pastoe in 2002. In 2003 she co-founded a design label where she was the creative director for almost 7 years. Amongst the various accolades, in 2008 she has won the Golden German Design Prize and the iF design prize 4 times in 2005, 2007 (2x) and most recently in 2011 for her Blend handrinse collection.

The Blend also received a nomination for the German Design Award 2012.
